Frankfort Police Plan Informational Meeting After Trail Incidents
Residents can hear safety-related information pertaining to the recent crimes and other safety-related topics.
FRANKFORT, IL — The Frankfort Police Department is holding an informational meeting after two incidents on the Old Plank Road Trail involving runners getting groped. The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at village hall, 432 W. Nebraska St.
The village said residents can hear safety-related information pertaining to the recent crimes and other safety-related topics.
Most recently, a second runner was groped on the trail Nov. 6and the suspect description matched a man involved in a similar incident Oct. 23. Police did release a photo of the person of interest involved in these incidents. Anyone with information regarding the identity of the man is asked to contact the Frankfort Police Department.
