Frankfort Police Updated Procedures to Address COVID-19

The Frankfort Police Department wants to assure our residents that officers will continue to respond to all emergency calls but will take precautions utilizing social distancing and personal protective gear. We also want you to know will be limiting some of our services that are not considered emergencies or urgent in nature and requesting communication by telephone when possible in the interest of public and officer health. Officers may request follow up via email or other means when needed. Fingerprinting services will be suspended until further notice.

If you have a question regarding a police or accident report, please call us at (815)469-9435. FOIA requests can be initiated by e-mailing us at admin@frankfortpolice.net. For all general police questions or concerns the e-mail and phone number previously listed should be used: admin@frankfortpolice.net and (815)469-9435. Like always, to request a police response call our non-emergency number (815)485-2500 or 911 for emergencies.

We appreciate your support and understanding regarding the modifications in our police response. We are making these changes in an effort to keep our officers and the public as safe as possible.
