Police said the video shows how quickly offenders move and how they pull door handles to enter unlocked cars.
FRANKFORT, IL — Frankfort has experienced several car burglaries over the past few weeks, and Frankfort Police Department recently shared a video from a June 19 case. Police said the video shows how quickly offenders move and how they pull door handles to enter unlocked cars.
Earlier this week, police said the offenders used a garage door opener in an unlocked car to gain access to a garage and then stole a car out of the garage.
Police are reminding residents to lock their car doors, and not to leave car keys or fobs inside the car. You should also remove valuables from your vehicle and report any suspicious vehicles, noises or incidents to the Frankfort Police Department.
