Frankfort School District 157-C to host tribute to longtime band director Dana Ruff
Community members and 157-C alumni who knew Dana are invited to attend

Frankfort School District 157-C will host a tribute to its longtime band director, Mrs. Dana Ruff, who passed away on July 7, 2016. Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Maura Zinni, stated, “Dana impacted the lives of so many students and their families over the years, we felt it was most important for us to honor Dana's contributions and dedication to our district by hosting a tribute to her life.”
The celebration in her honor will take place on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Hickory Creek Middle School Café, 22150 W. 116th Avenue in Frankfort. The doors to the Café will open at 2:15 p.m. Attendees are asked that they treat the event as a celebration of Dana's life by wearing Frankfort 157-C spirit wear or brightly colored clothing. Dr. Zinni continued, “Dana was a shining star in our district for so many years, it is now our time to shine in her spirit.”
Community members and 157-C alumni who knew Dana are invited to attend and to also share the invitation with anyone that the district may have missed reaching with the information.
