Light Weight Teal vs. Frankfort Falcons

The Frankfort Square Wildcats Lightweight Teal improved their record to 3-0 by beating one of our crosstown rivals the Frankfort Falcons 6-0 on Saturday.

The day started with our 5th qtr. game which featured a couple of TD’s scored by both teams the Cats led by offense run by Matt Hudik, anchored on a line of Ben Hranicka, Nate Borgens, Aiden Olsen, Connor Gemmell, Peter Schuler, Ryan Lambie, Brandon Davidson Jake Rogovic Tyler Hoffman, Aidan Mirabella. The TD’s scored in the 5th qtr. were by Tyler Pinkston with great blocking from, Connor bird, Ryan Kordas, Brett Stevens.

In the Main Match up the Cats were stingy on defense holding the Falcons to 2 first downs all day, led by Dj Ritter 11 tackles, Brandon Burke with 10 tackles, Colin Mc Eldowney, Ryan Kordas, Josh Safarik each with 4 tackles Jack Florentine, Ronan Poynton, Matt Hudik ,and Ryan Hoffman each with a tackle as well.
The falcons were also stingy on defense holding the cats to less than 50yards rushing. The lone TD was scored on a punt from the Falcons to DJ Ritter who avoided 2 defenders on the far sideline and ran it for a 40 yard TD.

The Cats play Host to Ottawa Eagles this weekend 09/05/2015 ; the Wildcats Homecoming Day at FSW Main Field, 80th Ave and Mary Drew Parkway in Tinley Park/Frankfort, IL.
