Frankfort Square Wildcats LW Team Vs. Richton Park Raiders

Frankfort Square Wildcats LW Teal Game result 09/13/2015

Ask any Football Coach and he will tell you that the depth of his Team is as important as any one thing, and it proved correct on this past Sunday. There were a few players out with Injuries, FSW LW Teal stepped up and had a big day.

The offense got rolling early with a 7 minute drive that ended with Tyler Pinkston’s 6 yard run to give the Wildcats a 6-0 lead.The Offense went to work again late in the half with 14 yard TD by D.J. Ritter and Danny Giusto with the extra point to give the Wildcats a 13-0 lead at half.

The second half Wildcat defense produced another TD on a 70 yard interception by Sammy Dye to put the Wildcats up 19-0. Sammy Dye later in the quarter scored again on a 35 yard pass from D.J. Ritter to further increase the lead to 25-0 over the Richter Park Patriots for the final score.

The Wildcats were lead in rushing by D.J. Ritter with 5 carries on 98 yards and a TD; Danny Giusto with 8 carries for 84 yards and the extra point run in; Tyler Pinkston 10 carries for 54 yards and a TD; Ryan Kordas 6 carries for 10 yards; Matt Hudik with 3 carries for 10 yards. Also contributing were Conor Bird, Jackson Jensen, Brett Stevens all with 3 carries and 5 yards each.

The defense had a great day allowing only 2 first downs, also had a interception return for a TD and a fumble Recovery. The defense led by Collin Mc Eldowney with 4 tackles , Jack Florentine with 3 tackles, also helping were Conor Bird, Jackson Jensen, Brett Stevens, Danny Giusto, Kyle Swarens, Ronan Poyton with a tackle and fumble recovery, Ryan Hoffman, Sammy Dye, tackle and interception, Brandon Davidson, with a tackle as well.

The defense also had help from Aidan Mirabella, Jake Rogovic, Ben Hranicka, Jack Tess Nate Borgens, Aiden Olson, Ben Bunda, Connor Gemell,Aiden Eaheart, Peter Schuler, Ryan Lambie. Players out hurt but with the team on the sidelines was Brandon Burke, Evan Les, Josh Safari.

Cats Battle Manhattan next week at LW Central.
