FRANKFORT, IL — Students at Dr. Julian Rogus Elementary School raised over $16,000 for St. Jude Children's Hospital. The school said students participated in the hospital's Math-a-Thon, which challenges students to work math problems while providing a positive learning experience.

Over the past 18 years, the school has raised over $200,000 for St. Jude. The funds will help to cover costs for families without insurance or families who have costs above what insurance will reimburse, the school said.

"We are very proud of the students of Dr. Julian Rogus for taking the time, energy, and generosity to help such a great cause," the school said.
