Frankfort Township Supervisor Retires

The June board meeting was Moustis' last as supervisor. He has spent 22 years in the role.

FRANKFORT, IL — Frankfort Township Supervisor Jim Moustis has retired, and long-time Township Trustee Nick George will now assume the role.

The June board meeting was Moustis' last as supervisor. He has spent 22 years in the role, according to the township newsletter.

"We have seen many changes for the better during these past years and I am proud to have played a part in delivering more efficient and stronger services to our community," Moustis wrote in the newsletter.

George has served as a Trustee for almost 20 years, and has lived in Frankfort Township since 1992.

"If we can continue to demonstrate efficiency and productivity in Frankfort Township government operations, we'll be doing exactly what I believe taxpayers want and serve," George said in the newsletter.
