Frankfort Trustee Named Lincoln-Way Foundation Executive Director
Bob Kennedy, a longtime board director, will serve as executive director of the Lincoln-Way Foundation for Educational Excellence.

FRANKFORT, IL -- The Lincoln-Way Foundation has tapped a village of Frankfort trustee and former village clerk as its next executive director. Robert (Bob) J. Kennedy was appointed to the position on Aug. 28, according to a news release from the Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210.
Kennedy has been with the foundation for 12 years, having served as board director for two terms and has volunteered with the organization as well.
"I am elated about this opportunity to expand my role with the Foundation," Kennedy said. "The current Board is progressive, positive and involved in all facets of the fundraising efforts needed to successfully generate funds for all three Lincoln-Way schools."

Kennedy lives in Frankfort with his wife, Erin. Both of his children are Lincoln-Way East alums.
“My goal is simple: to grow and expand our successful fundraising efforts; solidify our current partnerships; and explore new opportunities and partnerships that will have a positive contribution and impact to our mission,” Kennedy said.
