Frankfort Trustee Todd Morgan Resigns
Frankfort residents are encouraged to apply to fill his seat for the remaining two years.
Frankfort Trustee Todd Morgan stepped down from his seat Monday after 14 years in the role.
“I have accomplished all the goals I set as a trustee, but still have personal and professional goals in front of me. The community is together, staff is professional, and the village board is operating at a high level—the village is in great hands,” said Morgan.
Morgan was elected to the board in 2001. He has served as chairperson on various Village committees including Community Services and Land Use and Policy. He was actively involved with economic development in the community, especially in the downtown district.

He also serves as vice president of investments at LaSalle St. Securities, and his wife, Cindy, co-owns BoKAY & Company, a Frankfort flower shop.
“On behalf of the residents of Frankfort, I would like to thank Todd for his 14 years of service to our community. He has always stood for quality—both in economic development and with our staff, and I appreciate his long-term commitment,” said Mayor Jim Holland.

State law calls for Holland to appoint a new trustee to serve out the remaining two years of Morgan’s term. He will consult with the remaining trustees and choose a replacement within 60 days. Residents of Frankfort are invited to submit applications to be considered for the Trustee appointment. Applications are available from the Village Administration Building at 432 W. Nebraska Street or from the Village website at www.villageoffrankfort.com.
Applications are due to Debbie Cox at the Village Administration Building by Monday, August 31. The Mayor stated that he and the trustees will review each application. The Mayor stated that he expects to announce an appointment at the September 21 board meeting.
