Frankfort Village Board Honors Outgoing Trustee Farina

FRANKFORT, IL — The Frankfort Village Board honored outgoing Village Trustee Margaret Farina at its Monday's board meeting.

Farina, who has served on the board since 2019, did not seek re-election in April.

"This evening, it is my genuine pleasure, and the pleasure of the Village Board, to recognize Trustee Margaret Farina for her public service to the residents of the Village of Frankfort," Mayor Keith Ogle said during the meeting.

Farina was presented with an engraved plaque recognizing her service.

"I will always cherish my experience to serve on the Frankfort Village Board," Farina said. She thanked her family for their support during her tenure.

Village trustees thanked Farina for her service. Village Clerk Katie Schubert said she has always been impressed by Farina's dedication and hard work.

"She has been a mentor for me for the last two years. I couldn't have asked for anyone better. I couldn't have asked for more information," Trustee Dan Rossi said.

"I'm going to miss you on this board," he added.
