Frankfort Volunteers Honored For Service By Silver Cross

Nearly 700 area residents donate their time and talents to raise funds for the hospital and assist in daily operations.

FRANKFORT, IL — Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox recently honored its volunteers at the hospital's annual recognition luncheon. According to a release, with four volunteer organizations: Advisory Board (Encore Resale Shop), Childerguild (Gift Shop) and The Will County Union of King's Daughters and Sons (founders of Silver Cross)and Inservice volunteers, nearly 700 area residents donate their time and talents to raise funds for the hospital and assist in daily operations.

Several residents of Frankfort were honored at the luncheon including:

  • 500 hours of service, Virginia Mondrazon, In-Service
  • 500 hours of service, Harriett Susman, In-Service
  • 500 hours of service, Kathleen Wagner, In-Service
  • 1,000 hours of service, William Boyles Sr., In-Service
  • 1,000 hours of service, Gerald Eskoff, In-Service
  • 1,000 hours of service, Gary Niedermeier, In-Service
  • 1,500 hours of service, Jerry Girogi, In-Service
  • 5,000 hours of service, Ken Vrshek, In-Service
