Frankfort Voters Guide: April 4 Consolidated Election

Here's a look at what Frankfort residents will see on their ballots.

FRANKFORT, IL — Early voting has already opened at Frankfort Village Hall and Frankfort Public Library, and the April 4 consolidated election is quickly approaching. The election includes races for village board, school boards, library boards, fire protection districts and park district boards.

Here's a look at what Frankfort residents will see on their ballots:

For those who live within the Village boundaries, the race for Village Trustee has five candidates vying for three positions. Candidates are:


Frankfort residents could be in the boundaries for Frankfort Park District or Frankfort Square Park Districts. The races for commissioners at both districts are uncontested.

Candidates for Frankfort Park District are:

  • Thomas Barz
  • Elmer Gentry

Candidates for Frankfort Square Park District are:

  • Phillip Cherry
  • Craig Maksymiak
  • Ryan Holley

The race for Frankfort Public Library Trustee is also uncontested. Candidates are:

  • Katherine Foulk Veach
  • Jan Look

Frankfort residents are part of Lincoln-Way High School District 210. There 10 candidates vying for four positions in this race. Candidates are:


At the grade school level, voters may reside in the boundaries for District 157-C or Summit Hill District 161.

There are nine candidates vying for four positions on the District 157-C Board of Education. Candidates are:

There are four candidates running for three positions on Summit Hill District 161 Board of Education. Candidates are:

  • Joy Murphy
  • Matthew Carey
  • John Winter
  • Ronnie Petrey

Finally, Frankfort voters will also see the race for Frankfort Fire Protection District on the ballot. One candidate, Mike Minogue, is running uncontested for a 2-year term.
