Frankfort's most distinguished to speak at Prayer Event

Frankfort, IL –Accomplishments too many to count, multiple awards for courage, bravery, intelligence, and leadership; three Frankfort men have enjoyed success at the highest level in their careers, yet they have one thing in common that outshines all others – their faith in Jesus Christ.
Lincoln Way East Head Football Coach Rob Zvonar, U.S. National Guard Col. Mark Jackson, and Major General Joseph Kelley will be keynote speakers at an ecumenical National Day of Prayer event hosted at Hickory Creek Community Church, 10660 Lincoln Highway, Frankfort, IL on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 7 to 8:30 p.m.
From growing a championship football program to fighting in the Middle East to working with the Department of Defense, there’s no question these three exceptional men have worked hard to get to the top. They will share how prayer and faith in Jesus Christ has shaped their lives.

The evening will follow the National Day of Prayer Task Force guidelines by praying over the following: military, media, government, education, family, churches and business. A representative from each category will read a prayer. Zvonar will pray for the education category and Kelley will pray for the military. Pastor Scott Kircher, Hickory Creek Community Church, will pray for all churches, their leaders and staff as well as members. Justin Ozinga from Ozinga Concrete, a Christian-owned business, will pray for business and commerce. Judy Placzkowski, Director of Peace Community Preschool, will pray over the family category including children, parents, grandparents, and extended family. Rob Piscia, Assistant Village Administrator for Frankfort will pray over the government including federal, state and local politicians, public service employees, police, fire, EMT etc. Denise Unland, Joliet Herald, will pray over the media category.
All pastors, church leaders, laity, and staff, public servants, fire, police, EMT, business owners, non-profit organizations, teachers, board of education, chamber of commerce, politicians, members of the media, members of the military, athletic coaches and staff, parents, grandparents, men, women and children are encouraged to attend.
