Twenty-two-year-old Frankfort resident Gabriella Giovanna Adamo lost her fight with leukemia late last year. Gabby left behind a loving family and many friends. Friends of the Adamo family have organized a gathering to celebrate Gabby’s life, and to provide love and immediate support to the Adamo family. This event is unique because everything is being donated - all proceeds raised from the event are going to the Adamo family to help offset medical bills.

You can be a part of this incredible celebration being held Saturday, February 1, 2020 at CD & Me, at 23320 South La Grange Road Frankfort, Il, from 7 to 11 p.m. Early “Angel” tickets are available for $40 per ticket until Jan. 15th. After that date, ticket prices will increase, and they will be $50 at the door. Tickets may be purchased at https://togetherforgabby.rsvpify.com/. Each ticket includes food, entertainment, raffles and auction (21 and older). Entertainment for the evening will be provided by 90’s cover band, Grungeworthy. The band has generously agreed to play the event free of charge.

If you are unable to attend but wish to make a cash donation, you can do so at https://togetherforgabby.rsvpify.com/. Every dollar raised will go directly to the family.

“What is amazing is how our community has come together to support the Adamo family and to celebrate Gabby. Everything is being donated, CD & ME has graciously donated the facility, countless area restaurants have donated food, raffle baskets, and a number of incredible auction items have been donated by local businesses, friend and family. The Adamo family has been an important part of several local youth programs for many years. Although nothing can replace the loss we all feel, we hope this event with be show the family how much Gabby was loved and help ease some of their financial burden,” said Tamara Heerde, one of the event organizers.

If you can donate items for auction or would like to explore corporate sponsorship of the event, please email togetherforgabby@gmail.com

On November 13, 2019, at the age of 22, Gabriella ("Gabby") Adamo passed away, following an incredible battle with Leukemia. Everyone who knew Gabby were devastated but none more so than Gabby's mother, Leanne, father, Vince and brother, Dominic. This event is to help the family with the debts that were incurred due to Gabby’s medical bills.

This event offers an opportunity to come together to celebrate an incredible life and to demonstrate the community support. The hope is that people will attend the event on February 1 at 7PM at CD & ME or make a donation if unable to attend the celebration. Every dollar goes to support the Adamo family.
