Let us give thanks for the relative lack of crime in Frankfort.

Nov. 12

· A residence on Old North Church Road was burglarized.

· Property was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on Wisconsin Road.

· Property again was stolen from unlocked vehicle parked on Wisconsin Road.

· Michael Riley, 24, of Warner Robbins, GA, was charged with speeding and driving on a suspended license about 8 p.m. near the corner of 80th Avenue and Lincoln Highway.

· Two 17-year-olds, one from Mokena and the other from Frankfort, got into some trouble with the cops about 10:40 p.m. near the corner of Katie Court and Katie Lane. The Mokena teen was charged with possession of tobacco by a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia. The Frankfort teen was charged with possession of a controlled substance and taken to River Valley Juvenile Detention Center.
