Heritage Christian School Wins 12 State Championships

What does a chainsaw carved hedgehog, music theory test, and a handbell ensemble all have in common? These are three of the areas in which the high school students at Heritage Christian School (21739 S. LaGrange Rd. Frankfort, Il) won at their recent state competition. They also won in Sacred Piano Duet, Classical Piano Duet, Sacred Piano Solo, Male Vocal Solo, Youth Choir, Choral Group, Topical Preaching, Handbell Choir, and Extemporaneous Speaking. Along with these twelve, the students placed runner-up or third Place in 18 other categories. These state champions are headed for South Carolina in the beginning of April to compete for national titles.
