Hickory Creek Cheerleading Takes Fourth At State Finals

FRANKFORT, IL — Hickory Creek Middle School's cheerleading team placed fourth in the large team routine at IESA state finals.
The state finals competition was held Wednesday in Peoria, and Hickory Creek performed in the large team routine, which is for teams with 17-25 members.
Hickory Creek placed fourth, with a score of 87.90. The top three teams in the large team routine were third-place Edwardsville's Lincoln, second-place Minooka, and first-place Edwardsville's Liberty.

In recent years, Hickory Creek won the large team routine in 2019 and 2022, and placed third in 2020. No competition took place in 2021.
