Team wins the regular season conference title

Congratulations to the Hickory Creek Middle School 7th grade boys’ basketball team on a successful season. After winning the regular season conference title, the team continued its thrilling year beating Mokena Junior High School, Summit Hill Junior High School and Colin Powell Middle School in the Illinois Elementary School Association (IESA) Regionals to take home the championship.

Their tremendous season came to an end in the IESA Sectionals when they lost a tough game to Kankakee. They ended the year with a 23-4 record. The team consisted of Eli Bouck, Alec Ogarek, Reece Guderjan, Ty Slager, Jake Nair, Anthony Gordon, Matthew Halliman, Nick Mergenthaler, John Kruzel, Sam Paliga, Silas Haberkorn, Ryan Sierocki, Justin Lublow and Hakeem Azeez.
