Hickory Creek Girls Softball is open and available to all incoming 7th and 8th grade girls. Tryouts will be held at Hickory Creek Middle School, 22150 W. 116th Avenue in Frankfort, on the following dates:
July 31, 7th Grade, 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m., 8th Grade, 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
August 1, 7th Grade, 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m., 8th Grade, 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

August 4, 7th/8th Pitchers/Catchers, 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m., 7th and 8th Grade, 8:30 a.m. -10:30 a.m.
All participants are invited to the first two days with a potential first set of cut downs being made after tryouts on August 1. A final cut down for both teams will be made on August 4.

All softball participants must attend at least one day of tryouts to be considered for the team. Participants should dress for tryouts and bring their softball equipment each day. Water will be provided but participants should bring an extra drink with them. A physical exam taken after July 31, 2013 must be on file with the school prior to tryouts. Those athletes making the team will need an updated physical exam that goes through September 27, 2014.
A parent/guardian permission form must be completed and signed before the first day of tryouts. A permission slip was given out in the information packet and additional forms are available in the Hickory Creek Middle School forms tab at the District 157-C website, www.fsd157c.org.
