Hickory Creek Middle School students selected to participate in IMEA District Festivals

Festivals will celebrate the talent of students from more than 60 schools throughout the southwestern metropolitan Chicago area


In November the Illinois Music Educators Association (IMEA) will hold its annual District Festivals, celebrating the talent of students from more than 60 schools throughout the southwestern metropolitan Chicago area. The Band, Orchestra, and Chorus Festival will be held on November 4, 2017 at Lincoln-Way Central High School. The Jazz Festival will be held on November 11, 2017 at Thornton Fractional South High School.

This year Hickory Creek Middle School had a record number of music students appointed to four different performing ensembles:
