Hickory Creek Middle School Spring Band Concert

The Spring Concert is free to our District 157-C community.

Looking for a fast track to spring? Come out to enjoy the Hickory Creek Middle School Band Department’s Spring Concert! It takes place on Wednesday, March 7, 6:00 p.m., in the Hickory Creek Middle School Auditorium at 22150 W. 116th Avenue.

The Sixth Grade Band and the Concert Band will be showcasing music that the students have been hard at work learning over the winter months. This includes some colorful pieces such as “Aliens Landing” and “Voodoo Dance,” along with uplifting classics like “To a New Beginning” and “Shaker Variants.”

This concert will also serve as a preview of the music the Concert Band will be taking to an adjudicated festival performance at the Vandercook College of Music on March 20.

The Spring Concert is free to the District 157-C community. The Hickory Creek Band Department is run by Doug Adams, Shannon Shanahan and Ben Clark.
