Hickory Creek Middle School Wrestling Team
Andrew Lizak won first place in his weight class and has advanced to State
The Hickory Creek Middle school wrestling team finished in fifth place at the Regional Meet on February 28. The following students qualified for the Illinois Elementary School Association (IESA) Sectional Meet: Andrew Lizak, Charlie Martinez, Caden Piotrowski, Dylan Narel, Connor Booth and Joe Farriols.
At the Sectional Meet on March 7, Andrew Lizak won first place in his weight class and has advanced to the State Meet on March 13 and 14 in DeKalb.
