Hickory Creek Seventh Grade Girls Basketball Heads To State Tournament

FRANKFORT, IL — Frankfort District 157-C's Hickory Creek Middle School seventh grade girls' basketball team is headed to the first round of the IESA Class 4A state tournament.

The team, which is undefeated, will play St. Jacob Triad at 10 a.m. on Dec. 2 at Morton Junior High School, according to IESA.

Frankfort is 22-0, and St. Jacob is 20-0.

The winner of the match-up will play the winner of Crete Monee and Normal's Kingsley later in the day on Dec. 2. The third-place game, and the state championship, will be played on Dec. 7.
