Hickory Creek State Champion Dominic Adamo recognized by Village
Mayor Holland presents him with a Village Proclamation
Hickory Creek Middle School eighth grade student Dominic Adamo was recognized by the Village of Frankfort Mayor and Board of Trustees on Monday, April 16, 2018 for becoming the 2018, 155 lbs. State Wrestling Champion and the first in the school's history.
Frankfort Mayor Jim Holland recognized Dominic for his State win and presented him with an official Village Proclamation. Following the presentation while surrounded by his family, coach and District 157-C Superintendent Dr. Maura Zinni, Dominic spoke about his wrestling season and expressed his thanks. The Illinois Elementary School Association (IESA) State Wrestling Tournament took place at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois on March 9 and 10, 2018. Dominic Adamo’s tournament record was 4 - 0, and his overall season record was 37 - 0. He and the other State qualifiers, Jack Marion, Jared Stearns, Ari Zaeske and Zach LaMonto, were also recognized at a school assembly. The Hickory Creek Principal is William Seidelmann, Athletic Director is Jennifer Rodgers and Wrestling Coach is Joshua Napier.
