Hike 3 Longest Trails In Will County During Preserve Challenge
The challenge begins March 1, and ends June 30.

WILL COUNTY, IL — The Forest Preserve District of Will County is hosting a "Triple Crown" challenge, starting March 1. The event challenges hikers to hike the three longest trails in Will County; the 22-mile Wauponsee Glacial Trail, 14 miles of Old Plank Road Trail and 13 miles of the I&M Canal state trail (from McKinley Woods to Brandon Road), according to the preserve.
The challenge begins March 1, and ends June 30.
Each trail can be hiked the entire length at one time or completed in sections during the four-month period, the preserve said. Those who complete the challenge will earn a commemorative piece.

Submission requirements include a selfie or landscape photo on each of the three trails, according to the preserve.
