Horses Euthanized After Injuries Suffered When Frankfort Farm Owner Failed to Keep Them Apart: Lawsuit
The horses "suffered severe injuries and were put down," the lawsuit said.

A horse owner said a Frankfort farm failed to keep her animals apart, leading them to injury each other so badly that they were euthanized, according to a lawsuit filed in Will County court.
Lisa Deguido, the owner of horses Cricket and Tootsie, sued Linda Szymanski, who owned Green Acres Farm when Deguido boarded her horses there in December 2012, the lawsuit said.
Cricket and Tootsie were to be kept “separated” as they “would injure each other if kept together,” the lawsuit said. Green Acres Farm allegedly breached its “contractual duty” by failing to ensure this.
