FRANKFORT, IL — First graders at Indian Trail School recently celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday. To celebrate, students read his biography and brought in their favorite books written by Dr. Seuss, the school said.

The school also celebrated Friendship Month in February. Students participated in read-alouds, viewed videos from The Kid President, participated in discussions, completed bucket filling activities, and found a “secret student” of the day, the school said.
