School Bus Rollover on Harlem

Deputies responded at 7:19 a.m. to a school bus crash on the 24000 block of Harlem Avenue in Frankfort. The bus was occupied by the driver and a 12-year-old female student from Crete School District 201-U. The driver said he lost control of the bus, sending it into a ditch, where it then swiped a tree and turned on its side. Both parties were treated on the scene and neither was transported to the hospital. The student’s mother took custody of the child. The assistant dean from D201-U was also present.
