JointPro Physical Therapy welcomes women's health and pelvic specialist to rehabilitation team

Frankfort Physical Therapist Josh Feigl, PT, OCS, CSCS, is pleased to announce that women’s health specialist Lauren Mansell, DPT, PRPC, CLT, CYT, has joined his JointPro Physical Therapy Clinic located at 9645 Lincoln-Way Lane in Frankfort. Feigl stated, “Lauren’s specialized training, along with her compassionate and caring spirit, make her an incredible addition to our Rehabilitation Team.”

Along with JointPro’s Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Physical Therapy, Dr. Mansell brings the addition of specialized care for bowel, bladder and sexual dysfunction, pelvic pain, perinatal/pregnancy, post menopause, post cancer care and lymphedema. Mansell is also certified in LSVT to address balance, gait, flexibility and strength for Parkinson’s disease and stroke rehab.

Dr. Mansell graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology and from Governors State University with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. She is adjunct faculty for Governors State, teaching doctoral students pelvic rehabilitation. She serves on several boards, including serving as executive officer of the Chicagoland Pelvic Floor Research Corsortium, Pelvic Health Research Initiative and Chicago National Organization of Women. She is also the principal investigator of a pilot study to help women increase fertility utilizing physical therapy.
