A landscape company truck and trailer collided with an SUV about 4 p.m. on Francis Road about a mile east of LaGrange Road.

UPDATE: 6:45 p.m. Friday

Frankfort Fire Protection District reports that the driver of the SUV was transported to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

A landscaping company truck and trailer collided with an SUV about 4 p.m. Friday on St Francis Road in front of the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart Convent.

Frankfort police closed the road to traffic in both directions and the road remained closed as of 5 p.m., with firefighters on scene.
