Lincoln-Way Area All Star Junior High Band Festival
Six area junior high schools participate in 6th annual event
On January 24, the 6th annual Lincoln-Way Area All Star Junior High Band Festival was held at Liberty Junior High School in New Lenox. Students from Hickory Creek Middle School, Liberty Junior High School, Manhattan Junior High School, Martino Junior High School, Mokena Junior High School and Summit Hill Junior High school participated in the festival.
The students met from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. to rehearse together under the direction of each of the Lincoln-Way High School band directors. A concert for the public was held at 2:00 p.m.
The Hickory Creek Middle School All Star Band participants included Lorin Briese, Kirsten Lutz, Paige Sackman, Justin Cheon, Elise Clayton, Sara Dore, Taylor Arthur, Ambre Reymond, Alex Guzzo, Jacob Heimlich, Zach Arseneau, Aiden Dehn, Alex Desjardins, Jenn Wise, Zach Zannelli, Ethan Machammer and Zac Stairs.
