Lincoln-Way Area Restaurants Wanted For Frankfort's Chili Cook-Off
The second annual chili cook-off will be held at Breidert Green in downtown Frankfort on Feb. 4.
FRANKFORT, IL — The Village of Frankfort is still seeking Lincoln-Way area restaurants to compete in its second annual chili cook-off on Feb. 4.
Restaurants can register by Jan. 27 for the cook-off, and chili must be prepared in a commercially licensed kitchen. You can find entry forms for the cook-off on the Village website.
First, second and third place prizes will be awarded, and the tasting will begin at noon at Breidert Green in downtown Frankfort. Winners will be announced at 2:30 p.m.

The cook-off is part of the Fire & Ice Winter Social, from noon to 3 p.m., on Feb. 4 on Breidert Green. The event will also include a live ice carving demonstration, family ice games, a bonfire, s'mores and hot chocolate.
