Lincoln-Way East Football Advances To State Championship
Lincoln-Way East will face Wilmette's Loyola Academy in the state championship game.
FRANKFORT, IL — Lincoln-Way East defeated Glen Ellyn's Glenbard West, 31-7, to advance into the 2022 IHSA Class 8A state championship game.
In the playoffs, Lincoln-Way East has defeated several opponents, including Conant High School (42-7), Nequa Valley (17-14), and Warren High School (35-14).
According to the IHSA website, Lincoln-Way East was a No. 1 seed in the playoffs, and is undefeated this season.

Lincoln-Way East will face Wilmette's Loyola Academy in the state championship game. Loyola is 12-1, and defeated Elmhurst's York Community High School to make it to the championship game.
The Class 8A state championship game will be played at 7 p.m. on Nov. 26 in Champaign.

Lincoln-Way East has won the state championship twice in recent years, in 2017 and 2019.
