Lincoln-Way East Football Heads To Class 8A Semifinal
Lincoln-Way East will now face Glenbard West at 1 p.m. Nov. 19 at East.
FRANKFORT, IL — Lincoln-Way East defeated Gurnee's Warren High School on Saturday to advance into the IHSA Class 8A semifinals.
Lincoln-Way East won against Warren 35-14, and will now face Glenbard West at 1 p.m. Nov. 19 at Lincoln-Way East.
According to the IHSA website, Lincoln-Way East was a No. 1 seed in playoffs, while Glenbard West was seeded No. 5. Lincoln-Way East is undefeated with a 12-0 record, and Glenbard West is 11-1.

The other two teams left in the playoffs, York Community High School and Loyola Academy, will also face off in the semifinals.
The Class 8A state championship game will be played at 7 p.m. on Nov. 26.

Lincoln-Way East has won the state championship twice in recent years, in 2017 and 2019.
