Lincoln-Way East Scholastic Bowl Named Conference Champions

FRANKFORT, IL — The Lincoln-Way East Scholastic Bowl team will head to regional competition after becoming the 2019-20 Southwest Suburban Conference Champion. The team defeated Sandburg High School Feb. 26 in the finals of the conference tournament, the district said.

The team's next competition is Feb. 29 at University of Illinois for the National Academic Quiz Tournaments.

Lincoln-Way East will host regionals at 4:30 p.m. Monday, March 9, with Lincoln-Way Central and Lincoln-Way West also competing, the district said. Then, the four regional champions from the area will play for the sectional championship March 14, also at Lincoln-Way East.
