FRANKFORT, IL -- A Lincoln-Way East senior has been named a National Merit Scholarship winner. Sabrina Corsetti is one of 2,500 winners of the national award based on students' combination of accomplishments, skills and potential success in rigorous college studies, according to a news release from Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210. The winners, including Corsetti, will receive a $2,500 college scholarship.

“I am always looking for new ways to challenge myself both in and out of school,” Corsetti said. “My education has been my lifelong passion, and I couldn’t feel more honored by this achievement.”

The winners were selected by a committee of college admissions officers and high school counselors from among more than 15,000 finalists from across the country.
