Lincoln-Way East Student Places At Drafting State Competition

FRANKFORT, IL — Lincoln-Way East senior Zachary Clark placed third at the 44th annual Illinois Drafting Educators Association state competition, at Illinois State University. The school said IDEA is a professional organization for Technology Education teachers.

IDEA offers regional competitions in 10 different categories ranging from regular board drafting, to 3D architectural drafting, and engineering design presentations, the school said. Clark competed in the 2D Architectural CAD competition at the regional event, which has held in March at JJC where he won first place.
