Lincoln-way east student raises funds for autism

Lincolnway east student athlete autism awareness

Noah Schor, Lincoln-way East sophomore, participated in a bench press competition fundraising event for Autism, raising $1350 for the Autism Society. Noah set an American Powerlifting Federation record for his age group and weight class (90kg), bench pressing 115kg (253.53lbs). The event, Pressing the Pieces Together, took place at 2XL Powerlifting in Lombard, IL, Saturday, February 18, 2017. Noah has been training in Powerlifting for about two years. He is also swimmer and water polo player. Next weekend, he travels to California to compete in USA Olympic Development program national tournament.
