Lincoln-Way East Students Perform Musical At High School Theatre Fest
Students will perform at the Illinois High School Theatre Festival on Friday.

FRANKFORT, IL — Lincoln-Way East High School's production of "The Theory of Relativity" was selected for performance at the Illinois High School Theatre Festival on Jan. 13, according to a release from the school.
The musical, by Neil Bartram and Brian Hill, will be presented to high school theater students across the state at the annual festival at the University of Illinois.
"It is an incredible honor to be chosen to perform at the state festival, and this piece certainly showcases our students in the cast and crew," director Patrick Spreadbury said in a release.

The Lincoln-Way cast and crew of 30 students is led by directors Spreadbury and Ann McMann-Kotze with designer Tyler Dawson and choreographer Meg Kosteck, the district said.
A public performance before the festival will be open to the public. One performance, at Lincoln-Way West High School in New Lenox will take place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Admission is $10/adults and $5/students.
