Lincoln-Way Foundation Plans Half Marathon, 10K
The race will kick off at 7 a.m. at Breidert Green in downtown Frankfort.
FRANKFORT, IL — The Lincoln-Way Foundation will hold its annual half marathon and 10K event on May 20.
The race will kick off at 7 a.m. at Breidert Green in downtown Frankfort. Proceeds from the event will fund scholarships and grant requests for educational enhancements, according to the foundation.
It is $70 to run the half marathon, and $50 to run the 10K. You can register for the races online. The half marathon course is a CARA-certified race.

There will be music, food and drink offered at the event. Participants will receive a free drink ticket for a beer or coffee at the Trail's Edge, which will open at 8:30 a.m. on race day.
The foundation supports Lincoln-Way High School District 210 and its students.
