Lincoln-Way Hockey Program Hosts Skate Event for 7th and 8th Graders
Attention 7th and 8th Graders. Come out to skate with the Lincoln-Way Coaches!

Lincoln-Way Hockey is excited to announce their final “7th and 8th Grade Skate with Lincoln-Way” event, scheduled for Tuesday, January 21st at 6:15pm. The event will take place at the Homewood-Flossmoor Ice Arena.
Participants will have the unique opportunity to practice on the ice with Lincoln-Way coaches for one hour. This is a great introduction on what to expect at the high school hockey level. Following the practice session, coaches and board members will be available to answer any questions from parents. The evening will conclude with a pizza party for players and families from 7:30pm - 8:30pm PM at the rink.

About Lincoln-Way Hockey
The mission of the Lincoln-Way District Hockey Club (LWDHC) is to provide Lincoln-Way High School District 210 students with the opportunity to play competitive ice hockey in a manner that is consistent with other school sanctioned sports. The philosophy of the LWDHC is that success will come naturally from expert instruction in the fundamentals of the sport and the development of advanced hockey skills while placing a priority on good sportsmanship, having fun and academic achievement. The focus of the LWDHC is development in the sport of hockey with the plan on moving its players to their next level of play while promoting team and club unity. The club currently has 4 teams. Varsity and JV1 play in the Illinois West High School Hockey League, JV2 plays in the North Central High School Hockey League and JV3 plays in the Darien Hockey League
