Lincoln-Way Student Art Selected For NIU Online Art Gallery
The show will be available for viewing from Nov. 5-21.
FRANKFORT, IL — Seven Lincoln-Way students have been selected to show their artwork in the Northern Illinois University virtual art show. Artwork can be viewed in a virtual art gallery accessed at www.niu.edu/olson-gallery. The show will be available for viewing from Nov. 5-21.
High school teachers in the northern Illinois region were invited to submit up to two pieces of student artwork in the show. The district said Lincoln-Way students with work in the show are:
- Jenna Davis - Lincoln-Way West
- Olivia Freiberg - Lincoln-Way Central
- Arnie Grunert - Lincoln-Way East
- Cara Hansen - Lincoln-Way Central
- Luke Munn - Lincoln-Way West
- Kendall Rusch - Lincoln-Way East
- Amani Hammoud Saavedra - Lincoln-Way Central
“The NIU High School exhibition is a creative opportunity for us to continue to showcase the talent and hard work of our students. We are appreciative to NIU for finding a way to continue the exhibition during these challenging times,” Phil Labriola, Lincoln-Way Art Department Chair said in a release.
