More than 100 cadets from Lincoln-Way Central, West, and East unpacked 25,000+ wreaths at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery on Saturday, December 14th as participants in the nationwide annual Wreaths Across America wreath-laying event. In addition, Lt. Col Tsoukatos lead the wreath dedication ceremony and MSgt Dan Schliffka served as the Master of Ceremonies coordinator. Twenty-five cadets served as the American Flag bearers, singers of the National Anthem, and Military Wreath Presenters. This event was established to honor and remember veterans from each branch of the military, as well as the prisoners of war and those missing in action.

The Lincoln-Way West Social Science Department and Interact Club sponsored 20 wreaths for West faculty and staff family members and former students.
