Lincoln-Way Varsity Drill Teams See Success At Competition
The teams had an astonishing day at the South-West Suburban Conference Drill Meet at Lincoln-Way East High School.

Congratulations to the Lincoln-Way Central/West Air Force Junior ROTC Varsity Armed Drill Team for taking 1st place and the Unarmed Drill Team for taking 2nd place during the South-West Suburban Conference Drill Meet at Lincoln-Way East High School last week.

The following teams had an astonishing day:
Winning 1st place award, in their best performance of the year, was the Armed Inspection team commanded by Rhys Fuller, the Armed Color Guard and Exhibition teams commanded by Jory Bell, and the Unarmed Duet by Abigail Knippel and Mikayla Hollingsworth. In the Armed Knock-Out division, the winner was Christopher Flynn.

The following teams achieved a strong 2nd place finish:
- Armed Regulation, commanded by Chris Flynn
- Unarmed Inspection, commanded by Mikayla Hollingsworth
- Unarmed Regulation, commanded by Abigail Knippel
- Unarmed Exhibition and Color Guard, commanded by Magan Martinez
