Lincoln-Way Winter Guard Finishes Third At Regional Competition

FRANKFORT, IL — The Lincoln-Way Winter Guard finished third in the finals of the Winter Guard International Regional event at Lincoln-Way East Feb. 29-March 1, the district said.

In the preliminary round, the team placed second out of 21 teams, and then finished third out of 11 teams in the finals. It was a close competition for the top spot, and the district said the team had a score of 82.270 and missed winning by .97.

There were teams from Wisconsin, Indiana, Minnesota and Ohio, as well as several Illinois teams. For the competition schedule and more information, you can visit the Winter Guard International website.
