LW East Scholastic Bowl Team Wins Regionals

FRANKFORT, IL — The Lincoln-Way East Scholastic Bowl Team recently won the IHSA Class 2A Regional competition. Now, the team will compete in the Sectional tournament on March 9 at Providence Catholic High School. The district said the team will face off against Homewood-Flossmoor, Sandburg, and Tinley Park HS.

Three Lincoln-Way East players were also named to the All-Sectional Team: Patrick O'Halloran, Matthew Ferracuti and Luke Meacham. The district said the All-Sectional team is comprised of the top 12 players in the 32-team sectional as voted on by the coaches of the Illinois High School Scholastic Bowl Coaches Association.
