Man Tried To Meet 14-Year-Old For Sex In Frankfort Township: Cops
A suspicious Craigslist ad led investigators to the 34-year-old man.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — A Romeoville man is accused of soliciting a teenage girl for sex after police say he attempted to meet with a 14-year-old in Frankfort Township. Spokeswoman Kathy Hoffmeyer said an investigation into a suspicious Craigslist post led Will County Sheriff's detectives to Raul Orona Jr., of the 200 block of Troy Court.
Police said the investigation revealed that Orona was interested in meeting with a 14-year-old girl — who turned out to be fictitious — for sex. Orona exchange numerous emails "that were sexual in nature" with investigators posing as the girl, according to police.
On Wednesday, sheriff's investigators arranged a meeting with Orona at a location in Frankfort Township, Hoffmeyer said.
