"While a district’s function is to educate children, it is paramount that all school business, whether it be school board meeting agendas, student accomplishments, and everything in between be easily accessible to every person in our community," he said. "I will make it a priority to increase transparency regarding school business and showcase all student achievements. I firmly believe that the more our community knows about our schools, the more involved and invested all our citizens become."

Skibinski said he also believes in having the district focus more on education of the whole child. He said he will stay true to the district's mission, "to prepare all students to be confident, life-long learners and productive citizens by challenging them to reach their fullest potential and by providing a quality educational environment in partnership with family and community."
