Montessori of Frankfort Celebrates 17th Kindergarten Graduation
Montessori of Frankfort celebrates their Kindergarten Graduates

Frankfort, Ill. (June 2017) - Montessori of Frankfort recently celebrated its 17th kindergarten graduation, a monumental and developmental event that marks an educational milestone in each child's life. For three years the children actively learned under the Montessori method, giving children the tools they need for success as they begin their grade school years. During the ceremony, each child gave a speech about their experiences and what they are most looking forward to next year in first grade.
"The day was emotional, but all of us felt very proud of the children too," said Linda Mora, Co-owner of Montessori of Frankfort. "For three years we watched these amazing children blossom with so much pride. They've developed into independent and eager learners, so now it's time they spread their wings and tackle grade school with enthusiasm and confidence," Mora continued.
Typically, Montessori of Frankfort students arrive at three years old and continue through kindergarten, studying numerous subjects often taught in later years with traditional education. For example, art appreciation and history, geography, biology, chemistry, algebra and geometry are all "works" children at Montessori of Frankfort are exposed to.
